On August 1st, the Kingdom of Tonga (our former home) crowned its newest ruler, King George Tupou V. When we were volunteers in Tonga, King Tupou V was known as "The Crown Prince." Actually, around our home, he was referred to in...um...less honorable terms. :) He's promising to cede most powers over to a Prime Minister and a newly elected Parliament. We can only hope...but we also cannot help ourselves from being skeptical. Regardless, these photos are amazing:

Mmmmmmmm
Mom made blueberry pancakes last Saturday. After the first bite or two, the fork was just slowing me down. Sometimes you just gotta eat with your hands, you know?
