An Introduction to Sam Cooksey Johnson, part deux

On January 2, 2007 Amber gave birth to our first son, Samuel Cooksey Johnson. Many of you may remember that Amber's Grandpa Cooksey passed away in December 2004; we miss him terribly this week, but we're thrilled to share our little Sam's birth with you, our family and friends. Sam was born at 8:02 am...he weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and measured at 20 1/2 inches long. Labor was long and trying, but we're fully recovered now and resting at home. Here are some moments from our first days together in the hospital:
