Family Camping Trip
Highlights included Sam's insatiable giggle when handed a roasted marshmallow, a very windy hike up the dune, story time around the camp fire and Maggie's ability to sleep in (even in a tent). Good times were had by all.

Sam's First Dance
Sam opted for the shirtless with sombrero and mustache look at his first school dance. It's not a decision I would have made, but I appreciate the boldness. I still find it funny that the 3 year olds at our daycare were taught actual steps, but why settle for writing or counting, right?
Maggie's First Dance
That's right folks: Maggie had her first dance at 5 months old...she just wasn't awake for much of it.

Go Fly a Kite
This weekend our friends Josh & Josi gave Sam a kite. We took advantage of the sunny, windy day today to give it a first outing. It was glorious. I hereby recommend that all Chicagoans skip work tomorrow, buy a kite at the dollar store, and go to the park. You won't regret it.
